El Charro

OK…this is authentic, top notch. The first sign of a confident restaurateur is the table setup. There were no condiments or salt & pepper shakers on the table , but available if requested. There was an ample vegetarian section. Ness has the veggie tostada/burrito/quesadilla combo. Each was very good. We had the spinach/cheese with chips appetizer. It was as smooth as silk, not clumpy. I went with steak fajitas. I judge that one by “is it’s better than mine.” It was. We order an appetizer and two meals. We were served within ten minutes. Granted, we were there at 1:30, after the lunch rush. We’ll come back soon, for dinner. Highly recommended.

Everything was great across the board. Service was extremely fast and the food was hot and fresh.

I went for lunch with my bf and had a absolute blast. Food was delicious, servers were fun and friendly, atmosphere was fun. Pitcher of margaritas was delicious. They were 42.00 but we'll worth it. Total bill for meal in pictures and pitcher was 81.00. I can't wait to go back

The food here is good. They serve chips and salsa which i LOVED. I order the carne asada tacos which were very very dry. I won’t get those again. My husband ordered the San Fransisco quesadilla which was AMAZING! Also their refried beans are delicious. The service was great. But the place was very loud

Came to El Charro using my RI Food Fights Taco Passport and was not disappointed!! I called to order takeout and the person in the phone was so friendly and helpful, and when I went to pick up my order everyone inside seemed so happy, patrons and staff alike. I had the chicken and steak tacos and holy moly they were so good! They both came with a generous amount of meat and the flavors were incredible. I am so looking forward to returning to try many other menu items. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere, large bar area, plenty of seating, and a large parking lot. So happy to have found this place.

We stopped in for dinner and drinks on a Saturday night after a visit to Providence. The food was excellent! Started with chips and salsa, always a good indicator of what’s coming next! It was very good and was followed by a Burrito and a few tacos! Everything was fresh and full of flavor! Service was quick (we sat at a table in the bar) and the atmosphere was fun. Definitely worth a stop if you’re looking for good Mexican in the area. We will be going back at some point.
